In-person library services to return
The new temporary multi-use facility at Stoney Point Community Park is expected to open early in 2023.
The facility, a 24 by 40-foot mobile unit featuring two accessible entry/exit points and an AODA-compliant washroom, will temporarily serve the community of Stoney Point/Pointe-aux-Roches. The mobile unit is currently on-site at Stoney Point Community Park, with setup and furnishings to be installed throughout November and December.

Update: The VoterView disruption has been resolved.
Due to slowdowns in the VoterView electronic voter list system, Lakeshore election staff are now using the paper-based backup system. The use of the paper-based system is not affecting wait times.
Voting Places are reporting wait times from 5 to 20 minutes, as of 12:15 PM. Wait times during peak periods have been up to 40 minutes at some Voting Places.

County Road 22 will have lane restrictions in effect for the ongoing Rourke Line Road construction project.
The lane restrictions will be in place east and west of Rourke Line Road, from Monday, October 24 to Friday, November 4, 2022 (weather permitting).
Drivers should expect delays or use alternate routes.. All drivers are asked to use caution in the area.

Election Day in the Municipality of Lakeshore is coming up on Monday, October 24!
Eligible voters in Lakeshore can cast their ballots at 12 Voting Places throughout the Municipality from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
