The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Essex County detachment would like to take this opportunity to remind Essex County residents about being safe and aware this Halloween.
Area youth will be out in full force going door to door to collect Halloween treats. They will be focused on getting to as many homes as they can to fill up their loot bags. They won't be thinking about vehicles or other safety hazards, so we need to work together to keep them...

Update: The original notice published in the Windsor Star incorrectly noted that the last day for the submission of appeals was Monday, November 13, 2023, at 4:30 PM. Since Lakeshore Town Hall will be closed that day in recognition of Remembrance Day, submissions will be accepted until Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 4:30 PM. At the regular meeting on October 10, 2023, Council of the Municipality of Lakeshore approved a Zoning By-law amendment to define and prohibit Short-Term Rental Accommodations throughout the municipality.

Lakeshore Fire Department invites residents to attend the Fire Prevention Week Open Houses at all five local fire stations from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
