Improvements at Lakeview Park a boon for boaters and beachgoers
Lakeshore's popular Belle River Marina will officially open for the season on Saturday, April 30. Seasonal park facilities, such as washrooms and sports fields, will follow on Monday, May 2.

Lakeshore Limiting Heavy Loads on Local Roads

By-law amendment aims to reduce impact of truck traffic on Class B Roads
At a meeting last week, Council of the Municipality of Lakeshore approved a by-law amendment designed to reduce the impact of heavy traffic and extend the life of local roads.
The amendment to By-law 2-2002 (By-law to Regulate Traffic on Highways) introduces year-round load restrictions on all of Lakeshore’s Class B Roads. The change means heavy truck traffic will be required to stick to designated routes, including County Roads.
