Lakeshore Closes Municipal Office to Visitors Effective December 14 2020
Lakeshore’s Town Hall at 419 Notre Dame will be closed to the public commencing December 14, 2020. Municipal staff are available to assist residents by telephone and email. Individuals wishing to attend the office for services that cannot be accessed by telephone or www.lakeshore.ca.
Municipal staff will still be available to commission documents, obtain marriage licences or conduct other business by appointment...

Lakeshore continues to experience a healthy growth rate which has exceeded the growth anticipated in the Town’s 2010 Official Plan. The Denis St. Pierre Water Pollution Control Plant is now operating, on average, at its rated capacity. This increase is attributable to new development and the impacts from the Coronavirus pandemic which has encouraged residents to stay home affecting both water and wastewater usage patterns.

Standing Message - Lake Erie & Lake St. Clair - High Static Water Level
• Current water levels on the lakes are well above average and slightly below where they were this time last year.
• Sustained wind speeds above moderate and/or heavy rains could cause flooding, erosion, and shoreline damage.
