Sign up online to receive property tax and water bills straight to your email inbox
Property tax and water account holders can now receive bills directly to their email inbox.
The new option, introduced earlier this year, will help reduce paper usage and provide you access to your billing information from anywhere in the world!
To sign up, you’ll need your name, property address, and contact information, as well as your water account and/or property tax roll number.

Property Tax Bill Reminder
Don’t forget, the final installment of 2022 property tax bills is due Monday, October 31.
Supplementary tax bills for new or recently renovated properties, or properties that have changed in use, will be mailed between August and November, with two installments due by end of 2022.

Lakeshore Seeking Community Feedback on Greenhouse Study
Citizens and stakeholders invited to provide their feedback and attend an open house in August, Council meeting in September
Lakeshore citizens and local stakeholders are invited to provide their input and share feedback on a draft version of a study that investigates the potential impacts of large-scale greenhouse farm developments in the Municipality.
The study, prepared by consultants at Storey Samways Planning Ltd., considers the effects of greenhouse developments through several lenses, including finance, climate change, as well as land use & community planning. It also considers approaches taken by other municipalities with such developments.
Two open houses will be hosted on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Fireworks Restrictions
Did you know that under Noise By-law #106-2007, fireworks are only permitted to be detonated in Lakeshore’s residential areas on April 21, Victoria Day, Canada Day, and Independence Day?

Communications & Engagement Master Plan Approved
Plan designed as a road map to improve Lakeshore's communications and citizen engagement
At the meeting on July 12, 2022, Council approved Lakeshore's new Communications & Engagement Master Plan.
The plan, which sets out four strategic priorities, seeks to enhance the Municipality’s communications efforts and improve the experience of citizens when participating in engagement initiatives.
As part of the rollout, staff will be bringing an implementation plan to Council for deliberation and budget consideration.

Make a splash!
River Ridge Park is officially open!
Earlier this summer, Lakeshore opened the new and improved River Ridge Park, located on Oakwood Avenue between Lakeshore Discovery Public School and St. Anne Catholic Secondary School.
The upgraded park will serve one of the fastest growing areas in Lakeshore and is home to amenities for all ages and abilities, including a splash pad, washroom and change room facilities, shade structures, exercise equipment, new lighting, parking area, and pickleball courts.
