Lakeshore Town Hall renovations are here!
While the building will be closed for a period of time, the Municipality of Lakeshore will continue to provide the same high-quality, in-person service that you are used to.
All Town Hall services have been temporarily moved to:
- Atlas Tube Recreation Centre
447 Renaud Line Rd, Belle River, ON - Services will be available Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Operational Changes
Property tax and water bill payments
- With the ongoing postal strike, property owners will not receive their water/tax bills in the mail. During the strike, property owners can receive a digital copy of their bill by contacting the Public Service Unit at 519-728-2700 or by email at PublicService@Lakeshore.ca. Lakeshore continues to offer several convenient alternative payment options. Learn more online at Lakeshore.ca/Payments
- All mail must be addressed to the Municipality of Lakeshore Town Hall to have it forwarded to the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre. Mail addressed to individual staff members or departments may not be forwarded so please ensure mail is addressed the Municipality of Lakeshore. Use "Attn:" to have it delivered to the appropriate individuals.
Council meetings
- Upcoming Council meetings, as of December 10, 2024, are scheduled to be moved to Essex County Council Chambers (360 Fairview Avenue West, Essex). Meetings will continue to be streamed online at Lakeshore.ca/TV.
