The following is a brief recap of the main issues and matters that Council dealt with at the meeting held on January 28, 2025. A video recording of the meeting will also be posted at Lakeshore.ca/TV.

Council:
- Received the following reports for information only:
- Awarded the tender for the St. Pierre Drain to Rudak Excavating Inc. in the amount of $348,997.11 (including applicable HST).
- Approved By-law 8-2025 to adopt an Emergency Response Plan; and approved By-law 9-2025 to establish an Emergency Management Program Committee.
- Approved By-law 10-2025 to adopt a Recruitment and Employment Policy.
- Provisionally adopted By-law 11-2025, being a by-law for the Bridge over the Bernard Tellier Drain.
- Approved an additional capital budget expense in the amount of $1,168,205.00, including applicable HST within the 2025 OCWA Capital Program to be funded from the Wastewater Reserve.
