Advance Voting Coming Up in Lakeshore
Lakeshore’s Municipal Elections are well underway and voters will have two chances to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day on Monday, October 26.
Any resident who is eligible to vote in Lakeshore’s elections can vote at the Advance Votes at the following dates and locations:
- Thursday, October 1, 2026 | Comber Community Centre (7100 Community Centre Street, Comber), 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Saturday, October 10, 2026 | Atlas Tube Recreation Centre (447 Renaud Line Road, Belle River)
Voter Information Cards on the way!
To make the process as simple as possible, registered voters will receive their Voter Information Cards (VICs) in the coming days. These cards include important information, including: the voter’s address, voter number, and their assigned voting location for Election Day (October 26, 2026).
Voter Information Cards are now in the mail, and eligible voters should begin receiving them in the coming days.
However, Voter Information Cards are not required to vote in Lakeshore’s Municipal Elections.
All voters should bring at least two pieces of identification. These documents must include the voter’s name and qualifying Lakeshore address. Acceptable forms of identification include Ontario driver’s licence, Health Card (photo card), and Photo Card. Residents are encouraged to confirm their voting information and plan ahead for advance voting or Voting Day.
