Council:

Received a presentation of the AMCTO E.A. Danby award, presented to the Municipality of Lakeshore for the 2024 Budget App.

Received the Quarterly Building Activity Report – 2024 Q1 for Information:

Awarded the 2024 Park Trail and Pathway Replacement Program to Quinlan Inc. for both the Comber Sideroad Pathway and Optimist Park Trail, noted as Schedule A and B in the report.

Designated the Sunsplash event, scheduled for July 12–14, 2024, as “municipally significant”, subject to the conditions outlined in the report.

Adopted By-law 67-2024, being a By-law to authorize an agreement with the Lakeshore Sports Excellence Hall of Fame for the purpose of displaying hall of fame inductee plaques on the wall at the ATRC located between Shuren Rink and Rink C and in the main entrance for new inductees.

Adopted By-law 68-2024, being a By-law to authorize an agreement with the Corporation of the City of Windsor for the purpose of the provision of childcare services.

Adopted By-law 69-2024, being a by-law to amend By-law 95-2023 (User Fee By-law).

Directed Administration to prepare a zoning by-law to regulate Additional Residential Units; and directed Administration to update section 6.2.1. (Modification 37) and section 4.3.1.5.1g) of the Lakeshore Official Plan Amendment No. 16 to permit Additional Residential Units without a site-specific zoning by-law amendment and advise the County of Essex.

Adopted By-law 57-2024, Being a By-law to amend By-Law 2-2012, Housekeeping Amendment of the Zoning By-law for the Municipality of Lakeshore (ZBA-08-2024) (unfinished business from June 11)

Gave third reading and finally adopted By-law 48-2024, Being a By-law for the Bridge Over the 16th-17th Sideroad Drain, pursuant to the Drainage Act.
