Council Meeting Summary: October 7, 2025

The following is a brief recap of the main issues and matters that Council dealt with at the meeting held on October 7, 2025. A video recording of the meeting will also be posted at Lakeshore.ca/TV. 

These highlights are not official minutes of the meeting and are meant solely for the purpose of general communications. The approved minutes provide the only official record of Council Proceedings and decisions.  

Council: 

  • Approved Zoning By-law Amendment Application ZBA-06-2025 to rezone the lands known legally as Part of the East Half of Lot 2, Concession 3; Lakeshore, save and except Part 1 on Plan 12R30228, being part of the Property Identifier Number 75065-0101(LT), from “Agriculture (A)” to “Agriculture Zone Exception 1 (A-1)” zone, and rezone the lands known legally as Part of the East Half of Lot 2, Concession 3; Lakeshore, designated as Part 1 on Plan 12R30228, being part of the Property Identifier Number 75065-0101(LT), from “Agriculture (A)” to “Agriculture Zone Exception 121 (A-121)” zone; and adopted By-law 61-2025. 

  • Adopted the following by-laws: 

    •  By-law 67-2025, Being a By-law for the Bridge over the 11th Concession Branch of the Alexander Drain in the Municipality of Lakeshore 
    • By-law 68-2025, Being a By-law to Amend the Parking By-law (By-law 4-2006) 

    • By-law 71-2025, Being a By-law Confirming the Proceedings of the September 23, 2025 Council Meeting
