Lakeshore Invites Local Canines and Community Members to ATRC Dog Park Grand Opening

Calling all canines!

The Municipality of Lakeshore invites local dogs, their owners, and members of the media to celebrate the grand opening of the new ATRC Dog Park at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

The new dog park offers a dedicated outdoor space for Lakeshore's furry residents to exercise, socialize, and enjoy off leash play in a welcoming community setting.

Location: Atlas Tube Recreation Centre (447 Renaud Line Road)

The event will include opening remarks and a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Bailey, Council, and staff to officially mark the opening of the dog park.

Visitors are encouraged to follow all posted dog park rules, including supervising their pets at all times and cleaning up after them.

Reminder: Renaud Line Road will be closed from County Road 22 to Oakwood Avenue on Wednesday, September 23. Follow posted detour routes.
