Lakeshore is Shining Bright this Holiday Season

It's that time of year again, Lakeshore streets are lighting up for the holiday season! 

“The holidays are a special time to bring our communities together and celebrate the season with lights and fun-filled events,” said Mayor Tracey Bailey. “We’re thrilled to see Lakeshore shine brighter than ever, and I encourage everyone to be part of the festive cheer and make lasting memories with family and friends.” 

The following holiday light displays will illuminate our communities with festive spirit across Lakeshore: 

  • Snowflake Streetlights: Lakeshore staff have been hard at work installing snowflake lights on lamp posts throughout the municipality in Belle River, Comber, Emeryville, Lighthouse Cove, Puce, Ruscom Station, St. Joachim, Stoney Point/Pointe aux Roches, and Woodslee. 

  • Park Tree Lights and Photo Op Displays: In the coming days, Lakeshore will light holiday trees across the municipality, including: 

    • Atlas Tube Recreation Centre (447 Renaud Line Road) 

    • Millen Park (1925 South Middle Road) 

    • Shannahan Park (1465 Lakeshore Road 203) 

    • Lakeview Park (100 Lake Street) will feature an ornament light display, perfect for a family photo op. 

    • COMING SOON Linda McKinlay Square (6311 Main St) will feature a present light display, offering another great photo opportunity. 

Community Holiday Light Events 

Belle River BIA: Tree Lighting and Moonlight Madness 

  • Friday, November 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM 

  • Tree lighting (582 Notre Dame St, Belle River, ON) 

  • Choir and Carolling, Local Shopping  

Lighthouse Cove Community Group: Parade of Lights & Illumination of the Lighthouse 

  • Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 6:00 PM. 

  • Government Dock (19308 Lakeside Dr, Tilbury, ON) 

  • Parade will depart from the park at 6:00 PM and arrive at the lighthouse at 6:30 PM 

  • Illumination of the lighthouse will begin at 6:45 PM 

New Year’s Eve Fireworks 

  • Close out the holiday season with a festive fireworks show at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre!  

  • Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 6:30 PM 

  • Atlas Tube Recreation Centre (447 Renaud Line Rd, Belle River, ON) 

Residents are invited to celebrate the holiday season by enjoying the lights and participating in local events throughout Lakeshore.
