Lakeshore Partners with ENWIN to Support Water Operations
The Municipality of Lakeshore has entered into a four-month strategic partnership with ENWIN Utilities Ltd., effective November 1, 2026, to support Lakeshore’s drinking water operations.
Through the partnership, ENWIN employees will provide supervisory and operational support to Lakeshore's Water Treatment and Water Distribution teams. Lakeshore will retain ownership and overall responsibility for its water system, with ENWIN working alongside the Municipality and its employees.
The partnership will strengthen Lakeshore’s operational capacity and support the continued delivery of safe, reliable drinking water that meets provincial standards.
“Our Water Operators are incredibly dedicated to providing safe and clean drinking water to our residents, and this partnership will help support their work and the continued delivery of this critical service,” said Mayor Tracey Bailey. “Working with ENWIN gives our team access to additional expertise and knowledge of best practices, while supporting the important work already underway across our water systems. It is a practical example of how we can work with local partners to address workforce pressures, reduce operational risk, and continue protecting the health of our residents and the environment as Lakeshore grows.”
“ENWIN is pleased to have the opportunity to support a neighbouring municipality and share our experience where it can provide value,” said Robert Spagnuolo, Chief Operating Officer – Water, ENWIN Utilities Ltd. “This collaborative arrangement is focused on working alongside Lakeshore and its employees to support the safe, reliable delivery of drinking water services to the community.”
No changes to water service are expected as a result of this partnership.
