Lakeshore Sports Excellence Hall of Fame to Induct First Class

Event to be hosted on November 7, 2024
The Lakeshore Sports Excellence Hall of Fame will induct its first class of individuals who have made significant contributions to sports in the communities of Lakeshore.
The Lakeshore Sports Excellence Hall of Fame Committee was conceived by a group of sports enthusiasts who believe in preserving the rich sports history in this area. These awards will be presented to individuals who have made a significant contribution to sports from any of Lakeshore Communities. The Hall of Fame honours heroes of the game and recognizes these Lakeshore residents who, through participation, achievement, or support, have made outstanding contributions to our society.
The Hall of Fame’s first class of inductees include:
- Athlete Modern: David Tremblay (wrestling)
- Athlete Legend: Jim Mahon (hockey)
- Builder: Mary Ann Pinsonneault (hockey)
- Open Category: Reg Chevalier (baseball)
The event details are as follows:
- Location: Urban Field House 1203 Faith Dr, Emeryville, ON N0R 1C0
Time: Doors open at 6:00pm. Dinner at 7:00pm
