Lakeshore Summer Camp Now Offered in Comber

Ready for a summer of fun? The Municipality of Lakeshore is pleased to announce that its recreational summer camp program will now be offered in Comber at the Comber Community Centre, 7100 Community Centre Street!

Registration opens Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

Designed for children ages 4 to 11, Lakeshore’s Camp Comber will offer ten exciting weeks of themed summer fun. Campers will enjoy a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, S.T.E.M., sports, outdoor play, games, and more!

Campers will also have opportunities to occasionally participate in field trips to the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre, where swimming and skating activities will be offered.

“We are excited to continue to expand our camp programming throughout the municipality and this year, to Comber,” said Mayor Tracey Bailey. “We look forward to providing local families with a convenient, safe, and fun environment for their children throughout the summer”.

Camp will run in July and August, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with weekly fees of $175, or $140 for short holiday weeks. Lunch options at an additional cost will be available for pre-order.

Reduced-cost program options are available for eligible families through the Recreation Assistance Program, funded through Pathway to Potential. More information is available at Lakeshore.ca/P2P.
