Local Government Week Starts Sunday

The Municipality of Lakeshore joins communities across the Province of Ontario to celebrate Local Government Week (#LocalGovWeek), which runs from October 19 to 25.  

This week recognizes the significant role that municipal governments play in providing services and amenities to citizens across Ontario. 

“Council and I are proud to serve our communities and residents,” said Mayor Tracey Bailey. “But our work would not be possible without the incredibly talented and knowledgeable members of #TeamLakeshore. They work, day in and day out, to provide the critical services and programs that our residents rely on while delivering on Council’s priorities.” 

“We are thrilled to celebrate #LocalGovWeek and look forward to highlighting members of #TeamLakeshore and the great work they do serving our communities,” Mayor Bailey added.
