Notice of Passing of a Municipal-wide Development Charges By-law

Take notice that the Council of the Municipality of Lakeshore passed a municipal-wide development charges By-law 56-2022, amending By-law 89-2020, being a by-law for the imposition of development charges, on the 31st day of May, 2022 under section 2 (1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27;

And take notice that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal under section 14 of the Act, in respect of By-law 56-2022, by filing with the Clerk of the Municipality of Lakeshore on or before the 11th day of July, 2022 a notice of appeal setting out the objection to By-law 56-2022 and the reasons supporting the objection. 

The schedule of development charges imposed by By-law 56-2022, which came into effect on May 31, 2022, is as follows (identified in Schedule B of the by-law):

The by-law applies to all lands located within the Municipality of Lakeshore. 

Copies of By-law 89-2020 and By-law 56-2022 are available at www.lakeshore.ca/developmentcharges or available for examination at Lakeshore Town Hall, 419 Notre Dame Street, Belle River, Ontario, N0R 1A0, during regular business hours (weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) excluding statutory holidays.
