NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF A ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT BY
THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAKESHORE
ZBA-07-2026 (Renaud Line Road Subdivision)

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of Lakeshore has passed By-law 45-2026 on the 11th day of August 2026, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal unless, before the by-law was passed, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the council or, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

An appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in respect of the By-law may be completed by filing with the Clerk of the Municipality of Lakeshore not later than the 2nd of September, 2026, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection, accompanied by the required fee, as per the Ontario Land Tribunal website, made payable to the Minister of Finance.

An explanation of the purpose of the by-law, describing the lands to which the by-law applies, and a key map showing the location of the lands to which the by-law applies, are detailed below. The complete By-law and any associated information is available for inspection during regular office hours.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Residential map.

By-law 45-2026 affects the parcels hatched “Rezoned Parcels” in the Key Map, provided. The By-law re-zone these working parcels from “Residential Medium Density ‒ Exception-26 (R2-26)” to “Residential Medium Density Exception 30 (R2-30)” within Registered Plan of Subdivision 12M-698 to allow for the following site-specific provisions.

  1. The Minimum Lot Area shall be 357m 2 for single-detached dwellings.
  2. The Minimum Lot Frontage shall be 10.1 m for single-detached dwellings.
  3. The Maximum Lot Coverage shall be 40% for single-detached dwelling and semi-detached dwellings.
  4. The Minimum Interior Side Yard Setback shall be 1.2 m for single-detached dwellings.
  5. The Minimum Exterior Side Yard Setback shall be 2.7m for single-detached dwellings and 3.5m for semi-detached dwellings.
