Parking and Program Changes at the ATRC: March 27, 2026

The Municipality of Lakeshore is making temporary facility and parking changes at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre for the upcoming showdown between the Lakeshore Canadiens and Essex 73s, tonight, March 27, as the game is expected to draw big crowds as the teams duke it out in the PJHL’s Stobbs Division Final. 

Due to event operations and expected facility demand, the Municipality has also cancelled the March 27 evening swim times, including:

• 6:00 PM - Recreational Swim
• 7:00 PM - Recreational Swim
• 8:00 PM - Lengths Swim

To help manage traffic and provide added parking capacity on game nights, Lakeshore is opening an overflow parking area on the north side of the property (north of the soccer fields). 

All drivers are asked to: 

Municipal staff will be present in the overflow lot to direct traffic and assist visitors. Those who park in the overflow lot can access the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre using the east entrances (next to the pool and gym). 

Accessible parking will continue to be available in the main lot. 

All visitors are encouraged to arrive early, follow posted directions, and allow extra time for parking and entry.
