Public Notice: Pesticide Use October-November

The Municipality of Lakeshore intends to control phragmites in ditches along all municipal rural roadsides within the Municipality of Lakeshore.

The application of pesticide will be completed for the promotion of public health and safety per section 7.1(2) of the Pesticides Act.

The Municipality of Lakeshore will use the following pesticide registered under the Pest Control Products Act (Canada):

VisionMAX Silviculture Herbicide (PCP Registration No. 27736), containing the active ingredient Glyphosate, present as potassium salt.

Spraying will commence on October 20, 2025, weather permitting and continue until November 20, 2025.
