Recycling Update in Lakeshore

Starting tomorrow (August 28, 2024), residential recycle collection in Lakeshore will transition from the Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority (EWSWA) to Green For Life Environmental Inc. (GFL), who is contracted out by Circular Materials.

• Set out recycling by 6:00 AM on your regular scheduled day.
• Set out only acceptable recyclable materials. Hardcover/softcover books, paint aerosols/cans, and used motor oil will no longer be accepted.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest recycling changes by downloading the Recycle Coach App.

Reminder: there is no set collection time for recycling. Collection can occur anytime between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM on your normal scheduled day, so be sure to set-out your recycling before 6:00 AM.
