Water Main Work Happening in Haycroft Area

Residents may experience service disruptions and reduced pressure

This week (October 13 to 16, 2026) Lakeshore staff and contractors are completing water main work in the Haycroft area, along Comber Sideroad between Comber and Stoney Point/Pointe-aux-Roches, south of the railroad tracks.

Residents in the area may experience temporary interruptions of service and periods of reduced water pressure. Water services are expected to return to normal each evening (generally between 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM). The Bulk Water Fill Station at the Comber Fire Station (Station #5) will be out of service for the week.

Municipal staff will be monitoring the water system throughout the work period, and every effort will be made to minimize the duration and extent of the disruptions.

The work is part of the ongoing water main improvement project which will strengthen and improve reliability of the water distribution system serving the area.

Lakeshore thanks residents for their patience and cooperation while the work is completed.
