Remembrance Day Events in Lakeshore
Municipality of Lakeshore offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in recognition of Remembrance Day. The Atlas Tube Recreation Centre will remain open and hold a Remembrance Day recognition and moment of silence starting at approximately 10:55 AM.
“On Remembrance Day, we come together to honour the courage, service, and sacrifice of Canada’s veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, and their families. Their dedication has helped safeguard our freedom and the values we cherish. I encourage residents to take a moment to reflect, remember, and express their gratitude to all who have served our country, as well as those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.”
—Mayor Tracey Bailey
