Lakeshore to Hold Public Information Centre (PIC) for County Road 22 Sewer Expansion Project

The Municipality of Lakeshore is inviting residents, businesses, and interested parties to attend a Public Information Centre (PIC) for the County Road 22 Sewer Expansion project. The PIC is part of a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) for the locations of pumping stations for the upcoming County Road 22 Sewer Expansion Project.

The open house will provide information on the preferred alternatives being considered for pumping stations along the route. Members of the project team will be available to answer questions and discuss any comments the public and stakeholders may have related to the project.

  • Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2026 (add to my calendar)
  • Time: 4:00 to 8:00 PM
  • Location: Atlas Tube Recreation Centre, 447 Renaud Line Road, Belle River

The Municipal Class Environmental Assessment study will determine:

  • Where new pump stations are required to meet future servicing requirements along the new County Road 22 Trunk Sewer route.
  • Identify existing pump stations that require increased capacity to meet servicing requirements.
  • Identify pump station configurations.

The project is supported through the Government of Canada’s Canada Housing Infrastructure Fund and the Government of Ontario’s Housing-Enabling Water Systems Fund.
