Planning and Development

Planning Services operates within the Growth and Sustainability Department to ensure that land development proposed by residents, developers and others supports the public interest. Lakeshore's Official Plan and Zoning By-law are the main tools utilized by the division to achieve this goal.

Planning Services provides professional advice to the public, Council, and Council endorsed committees on a wide variety of development and policy related issues.
