Water Account Information for Landlords and Tenants

• All water billing accounts must be in the name of the legally registered owner of the property (same information as the property tax account).
• Mailing addresses cannot be in a C/O the tenant(s).
• Landlords are to provide the Municipality with written authorization to release account information to tenant(s) - this information will be added to the water account for reference.
• Written authorization or changes to accounts can be sent to revenue@lakeshore.ca 
• Tenant(s) can enroll in Pre-authorized payment plans for the water account.
• The Municipality does not take final reads for tenant(s) moving in and out. Final reads/billing are only completed after a change of ownership of the property.
