Lakeshore’s Community Groups and Organizations Invited to Join Parade

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, the Municipality of Lakeshore will host a Neighbourhood Safety and Crime Prevention Walk in collaboration with Windsor-Essex Regional Community Safety and Well-Being Plan.

The Lakeshore Park Concert Series scheduled for tonight (August 11, 2023) at Lakeview Park has been cancelled due to the potential for inclement weather. The event is expected to be rescheduled to a later date.

Today, the Municipality of Lakeshore teamed up with several local sports organizations to conduct clean-ups at six local parks. The “Our Lakeshore Earth Day Clean-up" saw volunteers and members from Woodslee Baseball, Belle River Soccer, Lakeshore Minor Baseball, and Stoney Point Soccer Club cleaning up baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and public areas at Optimist Park, Millen Park, Centennial Park, Lions Park, Atlas Tube Recreation Centre, and Stoney Point Community Park.

The Municipality of Lakeshore is undergoing a phone system upgrade that could impact some calls over the coming week. The system upgrade requires backend technical changes that may result in a small percentage of callers receiving a busy signal or no answer.
