At the meeting on June 18, 2024, Lakeshore Council appointed Justin Rousseau as Interim Chief Administrative Officer, effective June 26, 2024. Rousseau has served the Municipality of Lakeshore since 2021, when he was named Corporate Leader- Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Shared on behalf of the County of Essex. Construction of a roundabout at the intersection of County Road 42 and County 43 is commencing – a significant step toward the enhancement of the County Road 42 corridor between the City of Windsor border and County Road 19.

Lakeshore Council held a constructive round of discussions as part of the ongoing update to the municipality’s Water and Wastewater Master Plan, a document which is expected to guide water and wastewater infrastructure investments over the next two decades. Council heard from Administration and representatives from Jacobs, the consulting firm conducting the master plan update, who provided a summary of the planning activities to date.
