Phase 1

Proper management of our local stormwater is one of the ways The Town of Lakeshore is adapting to Climate Change.

The Town of Lakeshore has taken a streamlined approach to ensure stormwater is managed effectively and responsibly to help protect local water sources, as well as Town infrastructure.

Over the past decade, key federal, provincial, regional and local policies, guidelines and regulations have either been created or changed - requiring The Town of Lakeshore to expand policies and develop an integrated stormwater master plan.

Town of Lakeshore Stormwater Masterplan- Phase1 – is in its 30-day mandatory review period - is made up of guidelines and policies that dictate how the Town will manage stormwater over the next years. The plan prioritizes the projects and provides a means for the Town to estimate future stormwater requirements and costs.
