Asset Management |
The Asset Management Plan (AMP) will assist the Town in making decisions regarding the building, operating, maintaining, renewing, replacing, and disposing of infrastructure assets. The intent of the plan is to make the best use of the funds available while managing risk and continuing to provide adequate levels of services to the public. |

Fire Master Plan |
The Fire Master Plan strategically guide fire services through the next fifteen years of population and employment growth. This plan includes a review of all aspects of the fire department to ensure that performance standards and guidelines reflect industry best practices and are in compliance with the Ontario Fire Protection and Prevention Act (1997). |
Parks and Recreation Master Plan |
The plan includes an inventory and analysis of all existing parks, public consultation with the community, benchmarking against provincial standards, trends in recreation and the guiding principles to lead the way for future recreational growth for the Town of Lakeshore. |
Official Plan |
The Official Plan is a blueprint for long term policy for the community of Lakeshore. |
Strategic Plan |
The Strategic Plan developed by Council provides the key direction for the Town to ensure that the organization is addressing the issues that the Town faces today and will face in the future. |
Transportation Master Plan |
Transportation Master Plan provides a comprehensive long range plan that integrates the transportation infrastructure requirements of existing and future land use, with the community planning principles of the municipality for growth management, public safety, affordability, economic vitality and quality of life developed through the Town's Official Plan. |
Water / Wastewater Master Plans |
These plans provide long term planning of the Water and Wastewater infrastructure for the town. |
Energy Conservation and Demand Plan |
Ontario Regulation 379/11 requires the Town of Lakeshore to prepare a five-year Energy Conservation and Demand Management (ECDM) Plan. |
Stormwater Master Plan Phase 1 |
Proper management of our local stormwater is one of the ways The Town of Lakeshore is adapting to Climate Change. The Town of Lakeshore has taken a streamlined approach to ensure stormwater is managed effectively and responsibly to help protect local water sources, as well as Town infrastructure. Over the past decade, key federal, provincial, regional and local policies, guidelines and regulations have either been created or changed - requiring The Town of Lakeshore to expand policies and develop an integrated stormwater master plan. Town of Lakeshore Stormwater Masterplan- Phase1 – is in its 30-day mandatory review period - is made up of guidelines and policies that dictate how the Town will manage stormwater over the next years. The plan prioritizes the projects and provides a means for the Town to estimate future stormwater requirements and costs.
