On August 21, 2025, Council and community members gathered at Lakeview Park – West Beach in Belle River for the official unveiling of a new accessible kayak and canoe launch.
The Lakeshore Fire Department will be conducting live search and rescue training near the intersection of Rourke Line Road and County Road 22 on August 18, 19, 20, 26, and 27 from approximately 6:00PM to 9:30 PM and August 25 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
