Our $62 million Atlas Tube Centre (multi-use recreation facility) offers:

  • Outside, the facility is rounded out with basketball courts, tennis courts and a 5 km multi-use trail.

 

New Water and Sanitary Plants

The Town recently completed all state of the art water and sanitary plants, a water tower, renovated the main street of our Belle River community, and renovated our marina and waterfront park which has been nominated for the Great Places in Canada's contest.

Furthermore, the County of Essex continues to improve and expand County Road 22 from Tecumseh to Belle River, the main 4-lane arterial highway in the region.

There are 24 courses in Essex County/Windsor region and with our weather you can golf for nine months or more.

  • The Windsor Essex Development Corporation (Development Corporation) provides regional economic development services for Essex County.
  • The Development Corporation is a not-for-profit organization.
  • Community leaders make up the board of the Corporation.
  • The County of Essex and City of Windsor support the Development Corporation financially.
  • The main focus of the organization is to develop and execute strategies to retain, expand, attract and help start up new businesses in the Windsor-Essex region.
