The Union Water Supply System (UWSS) is currently undertaking necessary upgrades to the treatment system at the Ruthven Water Treatment Plant. Part of the water treatment system had to be shut down in September 2021 for the upgrade to proceed. This work was scheduled for completion by the end of May 2022. Lakeshore Road 123 will be closed from South Middle Road to County Road 8 on May 20, 2022 (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) for culvert replacements (weather permitting).

Municipality of Lakeshore offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, May 23, 2022 for the Victoria Day holiday. Facilities will return to regular operating hours on Tuesday, May 24.

On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, the Council of the Municipality of Lakeshore will consider proposed changes to the development charges (D.C.) by-law.
The meeting will be held virtually and available to view at Lakehore.ca/TV. Anyone interested in attending the meeting may do so by registering online at Lakeshore.ca/Delegations by 4:30 PM on Monday, May 30, 2022.

West Belle River Road between County Road 42 & Rogers Road will be closed beginning May 17, 2022 for a three day period (weather dependent).
Residents and property owners along this section will have access to their property but no through traffic will be allowed between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3:00PM.
Delays are to be anticipated around the project area and alternate routes are recommended.
