Backflow Testing

Backflow Prevention Device – Testing & Reporting Requirements:

Per Bylaw #11-2001 Cross Connection, in order to help protect the safety of the Town’s drinking water, it is mandatory for property owners of industrial, commercial, and institutional properties to inspect and test the backflow prevention device annually by a qualified technician/plumber.  The results of the inspection are to be emailed to the Manager of Environmental Services upon completion to confirm compliance.  Please find the reporting template here.
