Update: The original notice published in the Windsor Star incorrectly noted that the last day for the submission of appeals was Monday, November 13, 2023, at 4:30 PM. Since Lakeshore Town Hall will be closed that day in recognition of Remembrance Day, submissions will be accepted until Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 4:30 PM. Lakeshore Takes Action on Short-term Rental Accommodations

Update: Please note, due to an ongoing appeal of the Zoning By-law Amendment to the Ontario Land Tribunal, the implementation of Lakeshore's prohibition on short-term rental accommodations has been delayed.
At the regular meeting on October 10, 2023, Council of the Municipality of Lakeshore approved a Zoning By-law amendment to define and prohibit Short-Term Rental Accommodations throughout the municipality.

Seasonal Facility Closures

A number of Lakeshore's seasonal facilities will be closed as of this weekend.
Splash pads and outdoor sports fields are now closed and park washrooms will close on October 6, 2023. The accessible washroom at River Ridge Park will remain open year-round.
