At the meeting on January 30, 2024, Lakeshore Council approved an amendment to the municipality’s Property Standards By-law to prohibit light fixtures that may negatively impact neighbours.

The Lakeshore Fire Department is issuing a friendly reminder to all drivers about the importance of pulling over for vehicles displaying flashing green lights.

Duplicate Property Tax Bill Emails

Due to a software issue with Lakeshore’s billing system, residents and property owners who are registered for electronic billing may have received duplicate emails regarding their 2024 interim property tax bills today.
These duplicate emails can be ignored or deleted from email inboxes.
