Move vehicles from roadways for snow clearing operations
With more wintry weather in the forecast, the Municipality of Lakeshore is putting the call out for assistance from community members.
Residents are asked to move parked cars off local roads wherever possible. Parked vehicles can either prevent clearing or increase the amount of time needed to clear a road, particularly on cul-de-sacs and near curb extensions. Water Meter Replacement Program Continues

The rollout of Lakeshore’s water meter replacement program will continue starting next week.
The program will see Lakeshore staff working to replace over 600 water meters throughout the community. These replacements will update water meter technology to provide more accurate and efficient water usage readings.
Residents in targeted areas will receive a notice by mail. The communication will include more information about the program and how to book an appointment. The homeowner will be asked to schedule an

Lakeshore Receives Over $7 Million Through Housing Accelerator Fund

The Municipality of Lakeshore has received over $7 million from the Government of Canada’s Housing Accelerator Fund. The funding will help lay the groundwork for the building of new homes over the next decade.
